About me

I am a software engineer (R&D) at DataStax since October 2023. I work on designing cloud-native, multi-tenant database architecture through serverless computing to support big-data and generative AI workloads.

Before this, I was a post-doctoral researcher at Data Systems laboratory at Harvard University since January 2019. I was also a post-doctoral researcher (2017-2018) with the Myriads team at Inria, Rennes in France. I did my Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India from 2013-2017. Broadly speaking, I work on data science with my research focus centering around different sub-directions at different times in my career.

Apart from building technology, I'm a serious (read passionate) player of complex, strategic boaard games. I love touring and exploring bizarre but alluring geographic locations, indulging in Indian music, and devouring and cooking delicious meals!
